Petroalgae Grows Algae in Plastic Tubes

A picture of Fred Tennant, vice president of business development for Petro-Algae, examining plastic tubes filled with algae from floridatoday.com. The algae is used to innoculate larger tanks. Tennant said"This is where we grow our babies,". PetroAlgae plans to produce 6,000 gallons of biodiesel per acre per year at the operation in Fellsmere.
